For your reference, the American Bird Conservancy has prepared new education
fact sheets, nine in total, which can be downloaded from
www.abcbirds.org/cats <http://www.abcbirds.org/> . These fact sheets contain
information on recent scientific studies of cat predation on wildlife,
information on hazards to free-roaming cats, getting a cat ordinance passed,
dealing with neighbors' cats in your yard, converting an outdoor cat to an
indoor cat, and "managed" cat colonies. Please feel free to make as many
copies of these fact sheets as you want, and use them to help educate your
neighbors, county commissioners and the general public on the importance of
responsible pet ownership. Hard copies of ABC’s complete Education Kit, of
which this is a part, will become available for purchase in the next few
weeks. Information will be on this website.
