From interacting with the public at cultural institutions, to
participating “out in the field” in restoration activities, volunteers
play a vital role in helping Chicago Wilderness and its members promote
and protect the region’s biodiversity. This workshop offer
suggestions on how to present our most important biodiversity
messages in understandable and compelling ways, and training in
communication techniques and interpretive practices to use while
communicating with the public.
