This invitation is for Cook County bird monitors and other monitors and
restoration volunteers ... I'm passing it along

Forest Preserve District of Cook County
Resource Management Volunteer Picnic
Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003
Camp Sagawau Environmental Education Center
12545 West 111th Street, Lemont, Illinois
from 1:00pm until ?????

FOOD & DRINK (provided), FUN, TOUR SAG CANYON, SHARE EXPERIENCES, BUCKTHORN
OLYMPICS!!!!
Please RSVP to me so we make sure that there is plenty of food!

Cook County is a big place and lots of people, like you, contribute valuable
time to get important ecosystem work done.

If you volunteer in the Forest Preserve District of Cook County--monitor flora
and/or fauna, been cutting buckthorn like its an unending task, pulling garlic
mustard so you smell like salad, collecting seed, battling reed canary, or
helping protect and improve the ecosystems in the Cook County Forest Preserves
in anyway--come to the Resource Management Volunteer Picnic!

Even if its been years since you saw a buckthorn, or you just volunteered
for a
few hours; if you helped us sometime during the last 10 years, we want you!

Here's an opportunity to share with other volunteers, to have some fun, to eat
some food.

Most of all this is an opportunity for the Forest Preserve District of Cook
County to show appreciation for the work you've done!
