HI BCNnet,

You may be interested in some of these field trips that the Habitat Project
is sponsoring this year.  They feature monitors and stewards leading us
around the sites they love and work on.  There should be lots of great talk
about habitat, monitoring, management as well as beautiful sites and
inspiring people.   

Join us for one of the upcoming Habitat Project Fieldtrips: 
Saturday, May 18 - Poplar Creek, NW Cook Co - 10:00 to noon. Bring a lunch,
then go to Bluff Springs Fen in the afternoon for a double feature! Leader

Saturday, May 18 - Bluff Springs Fen, NW Cook Co - 1:00 to 3:00.  Leader is
Roger Hotham (847-697-7484).
Saturday, June 1 – Florsheim Preserve, Lake Co – 9 to noon. Leader is Gerry

Saturday, June 8 – Bill Jarvis Migrating Bird Sanctuary (formerly Lincoln
Park Bird Sanctuary), Chicago - 8:00 to 11:00 am. Leader is Terry Schilling

Saturday, June 15 – Spring Brook Prairie, SW DuPage Co – 8:00 to 11:00 am.

Saturday, June 29 - Bartel Grassland, S Cook Co - 8:00 to 11:00. Leaders

Saturday, July 13 - Theodore Stone Preserve, W Cook Co - 9:00 to noon.
