Evanston Clark Street Beach Bird Habitat Restoration Project Community Meeting
Wednesday, April 8 6:30 to8:30 p.m.
Subject: Evanston Clark Street Beach Bird HabitatRestoration Project

When Northwestern University built its new visitor centerlast year at the southeast end of its campus, it took out a piece of weedy butwell-used habitat known to local birders as a nice little migrant trap.

To compensate for that loss, thisproject is designed to restore the area used by migratory birds that wasdisrupted by the construction as well as to enhance and expand the bird habitatarea at the northwest border of Clark Street Beach.

We urge you to attend the meeting and share your feedback. Your presence will show your support forbirds and your comments will help shape the restoration design concepts for thearea.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.with a tour of the current bird habitat located on the north end of Clark Street Beach. Following the tour, a presentation anddiscussion will begin at 7 p.m. at the John Evans Alumni Center,1800 Sheridan Rd., Evanston.
