Create Your Own Special Topic Session at the Wild Things Conference

Need a place and a bit of time to talk with other conference attendees about special topics during the Wild Things Conference? You can create your own special topic breakout session during the conference lunch break, and still have time for lunch. This can be a chance to talk about unique land management issues, advocacy issues, special topics, and the like.

If you are interested, here’s what you need to do. Send an e-mail to chicagowildthings at yahoo.com with the following information:

•	Amount of time desired (20 or 30 minutes)
•	A title for your discussion topic
•	A brief description of the topic
•	The name of the facilitator (and how that person can be reached)
•	A ballpark estimate of how many people you think are likely to attend
•	Whether the meeting is open to all conference participants, or open only to invited participants

Sample:
Topic: Restoration in Municipal Parks/on Municipal Lands
Meet others who are restoring habitat in municipal parks and on municipal land, and talk informally about the unique challenges these projects present. Share successes and lessons learned, discuss problems with others who work with similar constituents, and gain a network of people who can help you along the way.
•	Time: 40 minutes
•	Facilitator: Sue Williams, Brookfield Conservation Commission, xxx at xxx.xxx
•	Meeting type: Open
•	Anticipated attendance: Less than 20 people
