Colleagues, your hard work to craft the "6 steps to turn your yard into a
sanctuary for birds" for the Wild Bird Feeding Industry is paying off.

 

Industry partners have ordered more than 3 million copies of the brochure to
distribute with their products.  Each month, more manufacturers and
retailers agree to promote the 6 Steps.

 

The WBFI board of directors has established a committee to develop marketing
ideas and strategies to further promote the message. I will be sending you
the outcome of their deliberations shortly.

 

The www.backyardbirdcare.org website is getting lots of traffic, and has
been especially popular in light of the avian flu issue, as people look for
ways to feed birds safely.

 

Thanks again to all of you for your great work on this--your efforts will
have a lasting effect.
