Join Mayor Daley, The City of Chicago, the U.S. Green Building Council's -
Chicago and Regional Heartland Chapters

Greening the Heartland 2005: Cost, Practice and Policy, is a regional green
building and sustainability conference, which will feature inspiring and
educational plenary presentations by Mayor Richard M. Daley, City of
Chicago, Rick Fedrizzi, President of U.S. Green Building Council, Carol
Franklin, Principal of Andropogon Associates, Hunter Lovins, President of
Natural Capitalism, and S. Curtis Johnson, Chairman of Johnson Diversely.

      There will be over 40 breakout sessions along with an exciting line up
of post conference workshops, tours and meetings. The conference will focus
on green building, environmental and growth issues in the Heartland:

§      Dollars and Sense
§      Energy
§      Existing Buildings/Operations, Cleaning& Maintenance
§      Government
§      Green Building
§      Tools
§      Urban Landscape and Infrastructure


We anticipate between 600-700 attendees and over 60 exhibitors. More
