Several bird monitoring routes are still available for this year's BCN
Census - workshops are this weekend and next.

All current and potential monitors are invited to the workshops to talk
about great birds, great places and great plans. Forest Preserve
representatives will be on hand to share their agencies' land management
priorities for the upcoming season and to hear from the birders of the
county. Monitoring procedures will be explained and results will be shared.

Note that there is an optional bird banding demonstration at the Camp
Sagawau workshop (this weekend) - also, you can take the opportunity to
visit the only limestone Canyon in Cook County. Will and Cook County FPD
officials will also be on hand at this workshop
