"Wild Things: A Chicago Wilderness Conference for People and Nature"=20

Chicago Wilderness is celebrating the contribution that volunteers make =
to

habitat protection, preservation and monitoring through a conference

designed to give these citizen scientists, stewards and advocates more =
of

what they need: information, networking and good ideas!

"Wild Things" will feature more than 75 workshops about

real-life experiences with everything from the nitty gritty of habitat

management, botany, zoology, entomology and monitoring to advocacy,

education, art, culture, history and backyard and neighborhood ecology.

It's a great opportunity to listen, ask questions and learn more about =
the

diverse world of habitat conservation in the greater Chicagoland area.

If you're interested in joining people as interested in prairies,

parklands, wetlands and woodlands as you are, set aside a late winter =
day

that will help get you ready for spring and beyond. This conference will

offer something for everyone's natural interest from birds to =

herps, bugs, plants and mammals.
