Dear bird lovers,
I have been asked to cordially invite the birding community to come to the
Lt Governor=B9s celebration of International Migratory Bird Day . Pat Quinn
will be addressing the issue of birds and the environment in Illinois at
1:45pm tomorrow, Friday 5/7 at Brookfield Zoo.
http://www.brookfieldzoo.org
He has asked my organization and other local groups to participate as well
in this celebration.

His office is hoping that some of the birding community might be able to
come out and support him. He is a real champion for our environment and
for migratory birds as you well know.

He was instrumental in saving Plum Island among other critical habitats and
he is a true friend to birds in Illinois.

Please come out and support him if you can.
Please forward this to any other birding or environmental groups that might
be interested.

Thanks for helping to spread the word and happy birding!
