Midewin Explorations - 2004 Lecture Series
The USDA Forest Service, in cooperation with the City of Wilmington, =
will offer 10 public lectures in the 2004 Midewin Lecture Series. The =
Midewin Exploration's Lecture Series will introduce participants to the =
natural and cultural history of Midewin and northeastern Illinois. The =
presenters include Midewin staff, faculty from area universities and =
individual experts. All programs in this series will be presented in =
the Council Chambers of the Wilmington City Hall located at 1165 S. =
Water Street in Wilmington. There is a $3 per person charge for each =
program in the series. Children under the age of 12 are free. All =
programs begin at 7:00 PM. The doors will open at 6:30 PM. Call (815) =
423-6370 during regular business hours or consult the Midewin website at =
www.fs.fed.us/mntp for directions or more information.
