A big thank you goes out to the over 20 volunteers who cleared out huge piles of invasive plants in October and are helping to make Roosevelt Park more accessible to everyone. Below you'll find information on the final 2003 volunteer workday at Roosevelt Park in Waukegan. 

Come out for a last look at the great Waukegan River wetland restoration before the ravines are covered in snow. This event is sponsored by the Waukegan Harbor CAG, the Waukegan Park District, and the Lake Michigan Federation.

Where: Roosevelt Park, at the corner of Belvidere and McAlister in Waukegan. 

When: November 22, 2003 at 9 AM.
