Dear Colleagues,

Come participate in this roundtable discussion happening during the 
Community Media Workshop's Making Media Connections conference Thursday 
afternoon, June 5. 

Activists, journalists and publicists will explore ways to improve media 
coverage for regional environmental issues. 
This roundtable discussion features a panel that includes: 
_ Gary Wisby, environment writer for the Chicago Sun-Times 
_ Julie Deardorff, reporter for the Chicago Tribune 
_ Jill Geiger, Environmental Law and Policy Center 
_ David Hudson, Sustain, an environmental advocacy group 
_ Kari Lyderson, Washington Post 
_ Nora Ferrell, Valerie Denney Communications

Panelists and participants will give special attention to issues and 
stories that have been covered and discuss ways that emerging issues can 
get similar attention. You are encouraged to raise questions and 
contribute to what promises to be a very lively discussion.
