Hi BCNnet birding friends:

The American Bird Conservancy’s Important Bird Area Program Director, Dr.
Robert Chipley, will be appearing on National Public Radio's Talk of the
Nation Science Friday, on December 26th, between 2pm and 3pm, EST, to
discuss birds, bird conservation, ABC's new IBA book, and other aspects of
their bird conservation programs.  It’s regrettable that WBEZ chooses not to
carry it, but you can listen live over the internet at
http://www.sciencefriday.com/streaming.html.  I know ‘Chip’ who is a great
spokesman for birds and conservation and I think the show will be excellent.
