Hello bird conservationists,

This message consists mainly of a list of Illinois sites that are being
nominated as Important Bird Areas. I invite you to look it over, and to
nominate additional sites. Sites that are important to our rarer breeding
birds, that contain important habitat with a full complement of appropriate
birds, and that host large concentrations of migrants are eligible. IBA
designation can benefit birds by attracting additional protections and
resources to the site. It's one way you can "give something back to the
birds." For criteria and nomination forms, see
<<http://www.habitatproject.org/>http://www.habitatproject.org/><http://www
.habitatproject.org/>www.habitatproject.org, or contact me.

Thank you!
