[BCNnet] more on wind energy

I belong to the Royal Society for Protection of Birds, the British 
organization, which supports wind energy as long as the location won't impact 
birds too badly, but many many of the RSPB's three million members are 
ardently opposed to wind farms. RSPB responded to letters that it evaluates 
each wind farm proposal individually before supporting. Probably a good idea 
for us.

Who knows anything about this site? Is it on a flyway? Can someone fill us in 
on the suitability of the site.

Also, can someone confirm whether National Audubon has indeed opposed wind 
farms? Maybe that's only a rumor???
