Hi,

Like Chris, I've been wondering about the impacts of a wind generation
plant on birds. 

 I happened to speak to Paul Kerlinger today who is researching the
possible impacts of a proposed Illinois wind generation plant on birds.
According to him, outside of Altamont, CA, there has been little avian
mortality.  He recommends the paper that can be found at this site - the
appendixes contain lists of birds killed at each site.
