Anyone know how to get hold of this study? We could really use to see it ala
Montrose? At last - just what we've been looking for.

Please forward bright ideas to me.

Thanks.

HUMAN DISTURBANCE LINKED TO SHOREBIRD DECLINE: A new study by the U.S.
Geological Survey has found disturbance by humans and their pets has
"made the majority of former breeding sites unsuitable" for imperiled
shorebirds like the threatened western snowy plover says ENN 11/9.
Because humans use "so much of the beach" the birds are "unable to find
predictable place without people to rest and feed." The study
recommends that "small areas of special habitat" can be protected with
"relatively little impact on the beach-going public."
