Power System Reliability
Course Policies
- You are responsible for all information delivered in lecture and
broadcast via the ECE 558 course Blackboard email list.
- Late deliverables will not be accepted, unless previously arranged with
the instructor.
- All students are expected to take the midterm exam via Respondus LockDown
Browswer and Respondus Monitor (webcam).
- Internet students seeking a proctored exam, at their expense, must arrange
with Illinois Tech's Center for Learning
Innovation at least two weeks in advance for a proctor to deliver the
midterm exam.
- Internet students must "Record Narration" for their presentation,
submit their slides with synchronized audio at least 48 hours in advance,
and call in to the classroom, if possible, to answer questions following the
playback of their presentation.
- All written deliverables must be original work. No credit
will be given for copied/shared work, including diagrams and code. A
zero score will be given to any assignment if any portion of the
written work is found in any other student's work. In addition, all
students involved in the copied/shared work will be reported to the
ECE Department.
- Disabilities: Reasonable accommodations will be made for students
with documented disabilities. In order to receive accommodations,
students must obtain a letter of accommodation from the Center for
Disability Resources and make an appointment to speak with me as soon

- The Code
of Academic Honesty explains the standards (and associated sanctions) for
academic conduct. You are responsible for understanding your obligations as
an IIT student.
- The Illinois Tech Sexual
Harassment Policy includes a mechanism for reporting
sexual harassment or discrimination.
