Finanacial support is currently available for highly qualified PhD students. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to): multi-hop multi-channel wireless networks, cooperative communications and networking, network coding, security over wireless networks, cross-layer design and analysis. Applicants are expected to have a STRONG MATHEMATICAL BACKGROUND and STRONG ENGLISH WRITING/COMMUNICATION SKILLS. If interested, you are welcome to email me your CV, transcripts, and research plan.

Research Interests

Current research activities focus on next-generation network management architecture, Web service networks, Internet tomography based on packet-pair probing, multicast over application-oriented networks, cross-layer design for multimedia over WLANs, a generic framework for wireless capacity analysis, and cellular/WLAN/WiMax integration.
