Openings for Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Projects:

Two positions for REU research in the area of wireless networks are currently available for both junior and senior undergraduate students. This REU project is funded by National Science Fundation. The first phase of this project will last 4 weeks, starting from October 1, 2009. If you are interested, please send a two-page resume to cheng@iit.edu by September 15, 2009, indicating subject line as "REU position application". The selected students will receive a stipend of $400 per week. Depending on the performance, the students selected into the first phase can be considered for extending to the second and third phases, to be offered in Spring and Summer 2010, respectively. The applicants need to be US citizens or permanent residents to be eligible for this REU project. Women and minority students will be considered with priority.
