UbiSeC lab at IIT's ECE department conducts research in the areas of network and system security, wireless security, ubiquitous computing, and applied cryptography. Our mission is to develop sound security and privacy technologies for enhancing society welfare in the era of ubiquitous computing and networking.

- Please submit a paper to The first workshop on Security and Privacy in Cloud Computing (SPCC) at ICDCS 2010!
- Aug. 2009: UbiSeC Lab recently won the Best Paper Award from the security symposium at 2009 Fourth International Conference on Communications and Networking in China.
- Jun. 2009: UbiSeC Lab recently got one paper accepted by ESORICS 2009 (acceptance ratio = 42/220 = 19%). Congratulations to all!
- Apr. 2009: Cong Wang has received Doctoral Level Exceptional Design & Presentation Prize for his work on Ensuring Data Storage Security in Cloud Computing in the 2009 ECE Research Day Poster Competition.
- Feb. 2009: Our warmest congratulations to Prof. Wenjing Lou who has been awarded Tenure, along with promotion to Associate Professor in Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
- Jan. 2009: UbiSeC Lab welcomes Dr. Jin Li to join the lab as Senior
Research Associate.
- Dec. 2008: UbiSeC Lab recently got three papers being accepted by
the prestigious INFOCOM 2009. Congratulations to all!
- Aug. 2008: UbiSeC Lab is now supported by NSF through grant CNS-0831963
for its research project on data security in wireless sensor networks!
- Aug. 2008: Marta Alvargonzalez Diaz-Caneja and Silvia Gonzalez Yago successfully defended their Master dissertations.
- Jul. 2008: Simone Astuni and Eugenio Jesus Bayo Garcia successfully defended their Master dissertations.
- May 2008: Congratulations! Prof. Wenjing Lou has been elected to IEEE senior member.
- Apr. 2008: Simone Astuni and Eugenio Jesus Bayo Garcia have received award for their work on Preserving Anonymiity in Ubiquitous System at the 2008 ECE Research Day Poster Competition.
