ECE 100 - Fall 2012
Introduction to the Professions (ITP)
Course Policies
- You are responsible for all information delivered in lecture and
broadcast via the ECE 100 email list.
- Late deliverables will not be accepted.
- All written deliverables must be typed. Handwritten work will
receive zero credit.
- All reports and presentations, including Final Design Portfolio,
must be submitted in electronic form, in addition to paper copy form,
before the deadline. The electronic version must be submitted via
Blackboard's SafeAssignment link, which can be found under the
"Assignments" page on Blackboard.
- Each missed laboratory will result in a letter grade demotion. For
example, if you have an "A" average in the course, but you miss one
laboratory, then you will receive a "B" for the course.
- All written deliverables must be your original work. No credit will be
given for copied/shared work, including diagrams and code. A zero score
will be given to any assignment if any portion of the written work is found
in any other student's work.
- Team presentations must be shared equally, such that group members have
equivalent presentation responsibilities. For example, a three person team
with nine slides means that each team member should present three slides.
- Your presence is required for all lectures. A sign-up sheet will be
distributed in class. Lecture attendance is worth 5% of your final grade.
- Disabilities: Reasonable accommodations will be made for students
with documented disabilities. In order to receive accommodations,
students must obtain a letter of accommodation from the Center for
Disability Resources and make an appointment to speak with me as soon
as possible. For more information, please visit the Center for Disability Resources (CDR) web
page, or contact the center directly: telephone 312-567-5744 or
disabilities@iit.edu.
