Electric Power, CO2 Controls and the Tough Choices Ahead

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Richard W. Knoebel

Sargent & Lundy

About the Topic

The presentation will provide a brief discussion of CO2 and the control proposals which have been floating through the US congress. Several of the main issues that are involved in the effort to achieve the controlled CO2 emissions levels are investigated to evaluate how realistic some of the potential actions will be in achieving their targets. The presentation also looks at some of the economy wide actions and provides a high level assessment of how these actions will affect the electric power industry and peoples' lives.

About the Speaker
