The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE is offering a seminar and meeting discussion of Case Studies on Long-Term Care Facilities. This meeting is a must for those involved in the design, construction, reconstruction, and operation of these facilities in Illinois.
Michael Jontry of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Division of Long-Term Care, will present mechanical and electrical case studies for long-term care facilities. He will highlight the process of submitting projects to IDPH, out-line relevant codes, and present stories from the field. Engineers, architects, and facility operators are encouraged to attend.
The joint ASHRAE/IEEE evening meeting will follow the seminar. After dinner, Mr. Jontry will summarize key points of the seminar. Please note that the two events take place at different locations in downtown Chicago.
The afternoon seminar will take place at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Feinberg Building, 251 E. Huron St., 3rd floor, Conference Room A. The dinner meeting will be located a short walk away, at the Holiday Inn, Chicago City Centre, 300 E. Ohio St., 2nd floor, Superior Room.
Parking is available at the Holiday Inn ($13 reduced rate, 2-9 p.m.) or at several nearby self-parking lots, including one next door to the Holiday Inn. Members and guests are invited to attend both events.
