About the Topic

The presentation will include what's new, what's coming, and applications of Medium Voltage protection from 4KV through 34.5KV. The protection discussed will include overvoltage (lightning) protection and overcurrent protection using fuses, reclosers, breakers, and fault interrupters.

About the Speaker

Jerry Josken is a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from North Central College. During his career at Cooper, Jerry has held a variety of positions including Design Engineer of Distribution Switchgear, Marketing Engineer for Distribution Switchgear, Sales Engineer and currently, Apparatus Engineer for the Mid East Region. Jerry is a member of IEEE.
