10 area conservationists and 5 groups will be honored next Saturday, April 20 th , for their service in protecting, preserving and managing natural habitat, educating area residents about local wildlife and the environment, and otherwise helping Chicago Audubon Society as well as all of 'Chicago Wilderness'. It’s always an enjoyable evening, the Award Recipients are certainly deserving, and Steve and Sheryl always present very entertaining and interesting programs. Hope a number of you can join us!

Chicago Audubon Biennial Environmental Awards Banquet, Saturday, April 20.
This Awards dinner will be held to honor people from many walks of life who have been chosen by the Chicago Audubon Society for their contributions to conservation and birding in the Chicago-land area. The Banquet will be held at the Silver Stallion Restaurant in Des Plaines . Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. (cash bar opens at 5:30 p.m.). Dinner entrée choices are chicken, salmon, or vegetarian*. The evening’s program, Birds of Thailand , will be presented by Steven Bailey and Sheryl DeVore.
