The American Bird Conservancy and the National Audubon Society joined forces
in presenting to President-elect Obama's transition team a white paper
entitled

"ENSURE PROTECTION OF AMERICA'S IMPERILED BIRDS AND HABITAT".   I can't
recommend it more highly for anyone who cares about bird conservation.
