Hello everyone,

 

Friends of the Forest Preserves has begun advertising Cook County
restoration workdays on WCPT-850 AM radio.  WCPT is a progressive talk
station, and its listeners are a fertile ground of environmentalists.  The
ads will run one week a month, and will advertise a different site every
month.  If you are in the Chicago area, listen to 850 AM during the day and
you might hear the ads.

This week's ads promote the workday at Dan Ryan Woods this Saturday, October
13.  Future ads will promote Bemis Woods on Saturday, November 3, and Poplar
Creek on Sunday, December 9.

We plan to keep track of how many new visitors and volunteers we attract
with this advertising campaign.
