Natural Resources Manager

LakeKatherineNatureCenter and Botanic Gardens is seeking a creative and energetic individual who displays the initiative, integrity, flexibility, and eagerness to manage the natural resources of a 125 acre nature center and botanic gardens.The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of related work experience including: site planning, land management and restoration, facilities management, exhibit planning, and animal care. Volunteer management, granting writing and reporting, and event planning are also important aspects of this position. The position requires a mechanical aptitude including the ability to operate power equipment including a tractor and towed apparatus; mowers, chainsaws, shop tools, and other implements. Certified arborist, commercial pesticide training and certification are a plus.Valid drivers license a must. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
