My Norton AV Software reported:
Norton AntiVirus removed the attachment: data.zip.
The attachment was infected with the W32.Netsky.P@mm virus.

It was not sent from Randi nor her e-mail address for that matter (In
fact, I don't think she even uses her AOL e-mail address here anymore.).
Spammers simply grab an e-mail address from the BCN-net archives and put
it in the the "Sender" field.
Use common sense when opening e-mails with attachments. If the e-mail
doesn't make sense, don't open it (or reply to the sender, IF it is
someone you know, and ask them if they sent it)
