BCNnet friends;

For many years it has been my practice, after attending the board meetings
of the American Bird Conservancy (ABC) and the meetings of the Bird
Conservation Alliance (BCA) (formerly the Policy Council), to send an email
summarizing current bird conservation issues nationally and elsewhere in the
western hemisphere.  Inasmuch as this information is now available on line,
I can direct those of you interested in a particular subject to the
appropriate material.  In the case of ABC, here are the main topics as
covered in the current issue of Bird Calls.  These are available in detail
in news article form and suitable for downloading for your club's
newsletters or similar uses.  For anything in which you have an interest,
please contact me directly for details on accessing the material.
