That's the website of the group that wants an airport rebuilt on Northerly
Island. They have been running radio ads --you can hear it on their website--
to urge people to turn out for the final Chicago Park District budget hearing
tomorrow -Thursday (12/11) - night.
Please attend the budget hearing if you can. It is at 6p.m. at the Park
District Headquarters, 541 N. Fairbanks, (8th Floor) in Streeterville.
The conservation coalition that has been working on new plans for the
Northerly Island park has not been running radio ads. We don't have the big bucks
that FOMF has.
We will make a statement at the budget hearing but we need back-up from every
body possible.
