Eileen Harakal is the person I spoke with who did something about draining
the Noguchi Fountains. She is the Executive Director of Public Affairs at
the Art Insititute, and she was quite upset to learn about what was going on
at the Noguchi. She met immediately with Cal  Audrain who is Vice President
of Operations for the AI, and I am happy to report that the pond  is
DRAINED!!

I went monitoring this morning and we didn't find one bird there. Not one,
after finding up to four a day drowned in recent days. ( In my recent
research,  I learned that we were finding these birds even though they
cleaned the pond 2X a day. Scary. )

Thank god it's dry now.

I think it would be great to drop Eileen and/or Cal a note thanking them.
