June 17, 2002 Chicago Ornithological Society Summer Social

COS invites all birders to join our members at our Monday night meeting.
Sip an icy beer, enjoy a slice of pizza and regale your fellow birders
with your migration season highlights and tales.

The June members' meeting will be a social get-together and silent auction
at Leona's Pizzeria, 1936 W. Augusta, Chicago, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30
p.m. There will be a cash bar and you can order appetizers, Italian entrees
and pizza from the menu.

COS is planning a fabulous silent auction of the books in its traveling
library (the videos are being retained for lending and classes). Donations
of birding-related items for the fundraising auction would be most welcome.
Bring your donations and pocket money with you to Leona’s.
